Coal transportation

Presently Coal Transportation is mostly carried out by road and rail delivered to the client’s location.

Pending commissioning of mechanized evacuation system, haulage of coal to Banadag railway siding by road has started since 18th January, 2017. The distance from the crusher to unloading point is 36 Km approximately. The route is amalgamation of different routes such as road owned by village Panchayat, State Highway, some stretch owned by NTPC. Dispatch of coal is successfully carried out everyday.

    Thriveni celebrates the new Coal Handling Plant at Pakri Barwadih. This 15 MTPA Mine end CHP successfully started trail operations. It is with In-pit Crushing and Conveying technology (Semi mobile IPCC), 6 km overland conveyor (with Horizontal/ vertical curves & mounted on sleepers), Stackers, Reclaimers with the provision to mixing different grade of coal and online transfer options to the Owner CHP.
