Sustainability

We follow highest standards of safety for People, Machinery and Environment. The waste generated during mining are placed in the dumping ground to keep the Environment clean, adhering to the safety norms. Special precautions are taken during blasting and complete safety is ensured for all. A workshop has been set-up to carry out the maintenance and safety works of the machineries. In order to control the environment pollution, we have set-up pollution control devices. Various other Environmental safety measures are adopted i.e. dust suppression, water sprinkling, controlled blasting, plantation and rain water conservation, top soil conservation, environment monitoring and rain water harvesting.

    “Our TEMPL Volleyball Team emerged Runners-up at the All India Invitational Volleyball Tournament organized by Nilachakra Club, Baleswar, Odisha from 01.11.2019 to 03.11.2019.  Bhubaneswar Sports Hostel, East Coast Railway, Kerala Blasters, Vizag Railway, Villai Steel Plant were the other competing teams.   • “From Rickshaws to 100 tonners”

    “From Rickshaws to 100 tonners” Thriveni Sainik is proud to present a historic initiative in Women Empowerment! 12 lady drivers, from a tribal background, previously driving auto rickshaws in Ranchi will now be operating 100 ton dumper trucks at Pakri Barwadih Coal mine. Over the last few months they went through a rigorous training and development. We would like to thank NTPC for supporting us in steering this cause. Thriveni Sainik’s initiative will inspire many more women in the years to come...
