He has completed his bachelor’s degree in arts in 1976 from Birendra Narayan Chakrabarty University and joined the Indian Army in 1977. He is the Executive Chairman cum Managing Director of ACB (India), Limited. He has approximately 32 years of experience in the field of coal mining and mining logistics. He is one of the Directors’ in the Board of Directors of Thriveni Sainik Mining Private Limited.
