The first rake of Coal from Pakri Barwadih coal mine was flagged off on 17th Feb 2017, in Jharkhand. The mine has block area of 46.46 square kilometer with a mine capacity of 15 million tons per annum. Thriveni and Sainik, Joint Venture of Thriveni earthmovers was appointed last year as the Mine Developer cum Operator for this Project for a period of 27 Years.
